 "We came to know Creative Contracting through neighbors who used them for work on their houses. We had gutted a house and due to costs constraints at the time did not complete all we wanted to and had odds and ends to complete. Having used numerous contractors for various jobs, as well as jobs that in the end were not necessary since they did not accomplish what they set out to accomplish, we contacted Creative Contracting to do some work around the house. The work consisted of installing new floors, gutting a new bathroom, painting, some water proofing, as well as some other work around the house as needed. All work was done on a timely basis, and unlike most contractors, was completed prior to them leaving the job (as opposed to many who disappear for weeks prior to completing the job). Also, the pricing was very fair and upfront. We subsequently moved out of that house and into a house nearly three times the size and in need of a full gut on the main floor as well as the basement, making the second floor into four bedrooms and two full baths from an apartment consisting of two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, full bath and laundry room. In addition, the house needed all new fixtures (lights, plumbing, etc.) and appliances, new floors, sheetrock, etc. Based on past experience with contractors, and with Creative, we chose Creative to do the work. The job was supposed to take five months, and it took five months despite add-ons. Creative brought in the necessary subcontractors to get the job done. They helped with getting the fixtures, appliances, etc. The work was very neat, the workers were helpful and polite, and you knew they would be there at 7:30AM every day and work a full day. As with the other jobs, the costs were clearly laid out (there were no hidden costs) and any changes were discussed and agreed to. It was a very pleasant experience and we highly recommend Creative for all types of renovation work."
